About Hearing Log
I run Hearing Log. My own hearing is typical, but my wife lost some of her hearing as an adult and uses hearing aids every day.
Meeting her got me interested in hearing loss, and I started learning and writing about how hearing works and about hearing aids. As someone who lives with a family member with hearing loss, I try to write articles that are easy to read for both people with hearing loss and the people around them.
Articles on this site are general information. For diagnosis or treatment, please talk to an ear doctor or audiologist.
